The events charter
Our nights exist so singles can meet in real life, in a setting where everyone feels good. By booking, you accept these few rules.
Who can come
- The nights are for singles aged 18 and over.
Your ticket
- Your ticket is in your name and works once.
- Tickets are non-refundable: a ticket for a night on a set date carries no right of withdrawal.
- Can no longer come? Your spot can be transferred to a friend: write to us at hello@getdatecards.com with their first and last name and your ticket number (written under the QR code).
- If we cancel or postpone the night, you get a full refund.
The spirit
- Come curious and kind: everyone deserves a real chance.
- Dance with everyone, and let each person set their own pace.
- Consent first: a refusal is respected straight away, on the dance floor and everywhere else.
- Zero discrimination: origin, looks, religion, orientation, everyone is welcome.
During the night
- Drink in moderation; alcohol excuses no behaviour.
- Any pushy, aggressive or inappropriate behaviour means immediate exclusion, with no refund.
- Selling, promotion and canvassing are for the organisers only.
After the night
- You can reach out to the people you really talked with. If someone does not answer, leave it there.
- On Date Cards, answer every invitation with a yes or a no: a no removes you from that person’s feed, and they can no longer invite you.
Photos and videos
- Photos and videos of the atmosphere may be taken for our social media.
- Rather not appear? Tell the welcome desk and we will respect it.
